OOTD: Strawberry Ice Cream

Spring has come and grasped us tightly in her arms. I'm starting to break out the tank tops, muscle tee's, skater skirts, and high waisted shorts. In our first ice cream run of the season, I decided to wear one of my favourite spring outfits.  "Ice cream, in May??" I know. It's too early for that non sense! But, I was celebrating the fact that I finally got my G1. It deserved ice cream. I feel like this button up absolutely screams 'BBQ season' and, well, thank god skater skirts are in fashion because they are so gosh-darn flattering. 

These items are definitely staples in my spring wardrobe because of their versatility, simplicity and ease to wear. A black skater skirt seems to match with everything in my closet, and can go with any sort style I feel like pulling off on that certain day. Girly? Check. Edgy? Check. Sophisticated? Check, mate.
Not to mention the compliments I received on my sweet strawberry blouse. I was casually walking along the shore, when I hear behind me: "Hey, strawberries! I like your shirt." by another girl passing by.
