Imagine it. You pull the tray out of the oven and the kitchen is already masked with the sugary-chocolatey scent.
You feel the heat of the oven hit your cheekbones, the slight warmth wanting to meet your fingers, but separated by the safety of the oven mit. Then you lay your eyes on them. they looked like some sort of magazine cut out. the chocolate chips glistening from the heat, the corners of the rough circles golden brown. There they are. The perfect batch of chocolate chip cookies.
I felt like I was writing some sort of weird fanfiction just there. It was like 50 Shades Of Grey but better. I don't think I would be the only one if I said I had been looking for the best batch of chocolate chip cookies all of my life. Baking is a common part of childhood and everyone has a fond memory related to some sort of cooking. Have it be with grandparents, cousins, nieces uncles, aunts, parents or friends, cookies hold a special place in peoples hearts.

I didn't think anything could beat good ol' Tollhouse, but I seem to be proven wrong.
I found this recipe on one of my favourite cooking websites: Sally's Baking Addiction.
Specifically, this recipe.
Lemme tell you, these cookies are even amazing a few days later. Perfectly chewy, chocolatey, and decadent I would definitely say this is my new go-to cookie recipe.
This recipe was so delicious to my Dad, that he was telling my aunt about how much he loved them. Now, I'm making them for her daughters baptism!
PS-I still used whole wheat flour.....my Dad said he wouldn't have noticed until I said something.
PSS-Adding some white chocolate chips into the mix makes these cookies even more heavenly (which I didn't think was even possible).
I would highly recommend this recipe. Now, go do your housemates a favour and wip up a batch.
xx
